GEOMETRY OF THE SNOW

When I fret, 
I think this: 
the water swallows the drop.  

I take solace that even though too microscopic to see, 
There is a plan, or at least, 

Adjustment.

Some call for proof.
Not I.

White banks of it, covering every blade of grass in infinite equation, 
Glorious enough.

Come spring, if I’ve planted bulb,
Illuminated has it been by

Such hushed spark.
